Tiffany Comis

Director of Ambulatory Services, Redington Fairview General Hospital

As the Director of Ambulatory Services at Redington Fairview, Tiffany provides nursing leadership to the emergency and outpatient oncology service lines. Tiffany graduated from Husson College with a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing in 2002, working since that time predominantly in the emergency department. In January of 2019 Tiffany graduated from Saint Joseph’s College with leadership Master’s Degrees in nursing and business. Providing preceptorship while in the bedside nurse role was ultimately what led to Tiffany’s strong desire to be a nurse leader beyond that of a bedside nurse.

Tiffany is passionate in regards to ongoing learning, professional development, and engagement of emerging nurse leaders. She founded and currently chairs the Nursing Grand Rounds Committee at Redington Fairview. Nursing Grand Rounds allows front line nurses to present cases that have occurred within the organization in an effort to evaluate all areas of nursing competency and improve nursing performance in the areas of patient safety, clinical quality, nursing responsiveness, documentation improvement, and customer service. The success of this committee depends greatly upon the comprehensive mentorship provided to the nursing staff electing to present.

Tiffany is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association, American Nurses Association and serves on the Family Violence Project Board. She currently holds a national certification in emergency nursing. She is a lifelong resident of Maine, currently residing in Auburn with her husband and five children.
