What’s new for the 2019 Preceptor program?
This statewide program is provided free of cost for course participants, through funding provided by the Lunder-Dineen Health Education Alliance of Maine. This year, we’re looking forward to welcoming nurse managers and school nurses to the learning audience. Nurse managers and school nurses will be joining the cohorts of registered nurses interested in obtaining the knowledge and skills to assume the preceptor role and clinical nurse educators interested in further developing their knowledge and skills, to work in partnership with RN program attendees from their organizations, to guide and support the on-going development of new preceptors. How is the program designed?
The program is designed as a blended learning program consisting of eight interactive online learning modules and a one day in person workshop.
