Erin C. Soucy has worked at the University of Maine at Fort Kent for more than fifteen years. She has served as the Director of the nursing program since 2006. She teaches courses in healthcare ethics and integrated practice. Dr. Soucy’s clinical practice areas included medical-surgical, endoscopy, and obstetrical nursing.
Dr. Soucy completed her PhD in education in 2012 from Northcentral University. Dr. Soucy holds a master’s degree in nursing education from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Maine at Fort Kent. Dr. Soucy’s research interest includes evaluating the efficacy of teaching through the use of human patient simulators and examining the best teaching and learning methodologies as they relate to the affective learning domain.
