Donna has a nursing background in home health and hospice services with an emphasis on operations and management with result-oriented focus. Donna has a varied and comprehensive range of homecare experience, ranging from staff nurse for Ozark Foothills Home Health Agency in Poplar Bluff, Missouri (1982-1984), a Clinical Director at Health Reach Homecare (1984-1996) and Home Resources of Maine (1997-2000), Executive Director for Kno-Wal-Lin Homecare and Hospice (2000-2014), as well as a homecare consultant (1997-1998). Ms. DeBlois has an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Central Maine Medical Center College of Nursing, a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from University of Maine as well as a Masters of Science in Business and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Husson University. Donna is the President/CEO of MaineHealth Care at Home and a member of the MaineHealth Management Team.
Donna is an active member of OMNE/Nursing Leaders of Maine which is a subsidiary of AONE. Donna has been a member since 1986 and has served on the Executive Board Member, 2011 to present, including President from 2011-2015. Donna served as Chair of OMNE’s Annual Nursing Summit for many years.
Donna is President of the Maine Nursing Action Coalition Board of Directors and serves as a state co leader for the Action Coalition at the AARP Center for Nursing Excellence.
Ms. DeBlois has served on the following boards: National Association for Homecare and Hospice (2009-2013); Homecare and Hospice Alliance of Maine (1986-Present) - Board Chair (current, 2001-2004); OMNE Nurse Leaders of Maine (1986 - Present) - current President; Home Healthcare Solutions Client Advisory Board (2013-Present); National Board for Homecare and Hospice Certification (2011-Present); Pine Tree Chapter Intravenous Nurse Society - President (1990-1992); Knox County Community Health Coalition Advisory Board (2008-present); NAHC Hospital Homecare Association of America Advisory Board (2008-2009); Coalition of Maine Nursing Organizations (1996-2015).

Donna has spoken on the topics of telehealth, leadership and used of metrics to improve outcomes and efficiencies frequently at national and regional conferences.
