Executive Director, Lunder-Dineen Health Education Alliance of Maine
Labrini I. Nelligan was appointed Executive Director of the Lunder-Dineen Health Education Alliance of Maine in November 2012. Nelligan has served as a principal on the Alliance team since the inception of the program and has been instrumental in building the infrastructure and learning environment for the program.
Nelligan oversees all business operations of the Alliance including direct management of all non-clinical staff including: Maine outreach; financial and administrative operations; marketing and communications, as well as other relations to key stakeholders such as the Maine Alliance Advisory Council. Previously, Nelligan served as associate director of Development Campaigns and Logistics at the Massachusetts General Hospital. During her six years in Mass General Development, Nelligan has served on the Campaign team which has led several large-scale Campaign initiatives such as the internal and external campaign announcement events, the staffing of the Campaign Steering Committee, and the planning and installation of the first-ever Visionary Donor Wall at MGH.
Prior to her work at Mass General, Nelligan served as scheduler for Massachusetts Attorney General Tom Reilly and later as a fundraiser on his gubernatorial campaign. Much of her past experience includes project and personnel management. Nelligan earned a B.A. in Political Science from Boston University and a M.S. in Political Science from Suffolk University.
