More than 30 Maine Sites Participate in Nursing Grand Rounds
Lunder-Dineen is pleased to share complimentary and innovative education for Maine nurses. More than thirty sites have requested access to participate in free Nursing Grand Rounds sessions, presented by the Massachusetts General Hospital Norman Knight Nursing Center for Clinical and Professional Development. The sessions are broadcast live but are also archived for on-demand viewing, and many are also certified for CME/CE credit.
“I would encourage other nurses to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity,” said Northern Maine Medical Center’s staff and patient educator Reggie Murray, RN. She explained that the grand rounds sessions have been “truly valuable in that we are able to utilize the teleconferences for live presentations as well as archived sessions. The knowledge that we’ve gained, and the feasibility and variety of courses were very beneficial for our facility.”
Participants in the live nursing rounds log in via mobile access on the third Thursday of each month at 1:30pm. Each monthly session promotes nursing excellence through scholarly presentations and provides a forum to share expertise focused on the art and science of nursing.
“We truly value having so many of our Maine nursing colleagues join us for MGH Nursing Grand Rounds and we’re delighted to be able to offer two options for participating in the monthly programs,” said Lunder-Dineen Professional Development Specialist Carole Mackenzie, RN.
