Sherry Rogers, RN, MSN, NEA-BC

Director of Nursing, Redington-Fairview General Hospital

Sherry has a nursing background in acute care with an emphasis on operations and management with result-oriented focus. Sherry is a highly motivated professional with positive, persistent attitude and extensive knowledge of critical access hospitals and rural health settings.

Sherry received her BSN from St Joseph’s College and her MSN from the University of Southern Maine. Sherry also received a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Health Policy and Management from the Edmund S. Muskie School of Public Services.

Sherry is CNO at Redington-Fairview General Hospital where she is a member of the senior leadership with accountability for nursing services, quality improvement, risk management and regulatory compliance.

Sherry is an active member of OMNE/Nursing Leaders of Maine which is a subsidiary of AONE. Sherry has been a member since 1995 and has served on the Executive Board Member, 2001 to present, including President from 2008- 2009.

Sherry is Co-Chair of the Maine Partners in Nursing Education and Practice steering committee which formed in 2009 to establish the priorities for Maine’s future nursing workforce through a collaboration of education and practice nursing leaders and other stakeholders. MPNEP is a PIN Future of Nursing grant recipient from RWJF and NE Health Foundation.

Sherry completed the Maine Health Leadership Development Program in 2007- 2008. This program is sponsored by the Institute for Civic Leadership and the Daniel Hanley Center for Health Leadership.

Sherry is Board Certified in Nursing Executive, Advanced and became active in TCAB in 2009 through AF4Q with a national group until 2012.
